We are looking for a Chemical Engineer in Leipzig (Germany) to join an innovative company revolutionizing the plastics industry. The company focuses on developing sustainable, fully recyclable, and degradable materials through advanced chemical processes.

The Chemical Engineer will be responsible for scaling reactors and downstreaming plants from laboratory to large-scale production. Key tasks include:

  • Developing and procuring new system concepts.

  • Handling technical communication with manufacturers and partners.

  • Designing and optimizing chemical reactors, particularly pressurized reactors.

  • Working with highly viscous materials and chemical purification processes.

Requerimientos

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience (or PhD).

  • Expertise in chemical reactors, polymers, plastics, and scale-up processes.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work in a dynamic environment.

  • German proficiency (B2 level).
